Guidati dal carismatico polistrumentista Tommy Johansson, che ha da poco lasciato i Sabaton per dedicarsi completamente alla sua visione artistica, la band svedese è pronta a lanciare il loro terzo album, “Power Train“, in uscita il 7 febbraio 2025 sotto l’etichetta Nuclear Blast Records.
L’hype è alta, e con buone ragioni: questo viaggio musicale è un biglietto di prima classe per un’avventura epica. Preparatevi a risvegliare “sogni sopiti con riff potenti e cori epici…lasciandovi trasportare nel cuore di un mondo da fiaba” (cit. “sleeping dreams with powerful riffs and epic choruses…propelling listeners into the heart of a fairytale world” – NBR).
“Power Train” è un album che coniuga melodie accattivanti, assoli di chitarra epici, vocalità potenti e ritmi veloci ed energici, insomma una vera e propria esplosione di power metal melodico. I fan del genere non possono rischiare di rimanere a terra. Avete già il biglietto? Il treno è pronto a partire!
La composizione musicale è di alto livello. La chitarra solista di Tommy Johansson, con assoli rapidi e tecnicamente impeccabili, guida la linea melodica, fungendo da catalizzatore per una intensa carica emotiva. La chitarra ritmica di Petter Hjerpe, con riff potenti e precisi, costruisce un fondamento solido, supportando egregiamente le progressioni della chitarra solista.
